The armchair editor in me has come forward, please forgive. This also me reasoning all this out.

Depending on your intended audience, additional reference and discussion may help. Granted this series, along with the Gen11 and Hebrew Astronomy series is presented as something of a first draft. However, I think White Paper format would want to include solid references especially when making potentially controversial claims. I'd venture that this is already in consideration, but it is important to note.

For example, maybe include that the ages listed are drawn from the Masoretic text, and link to something explaining why this was chosen vs the Samaritan or Septuagint.

Less Sin Around is an interesting hypothesis and sounds plausible, but where was this idea drawn from? An academic source? If it is original it may be worth another post delving into further reasoning.

DNA degradation resulting from sin moves into the scientific realm and begs for references, considering the quantity of hard evidence regarding DNA. Same with the Effect of the Sun's Rays. The Water Vapor Canopy hypothesis I have read up on and the science seems tenuous at first glance. However, there are other possible explanations of the source of the rains originating from the "windows of the heavens."

I believe Scripture ultimately supersedes human-discovered facts, but the empirical must be reckoned with.

Proverbs 23:23 "Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding" and Daniel 12:4 "many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.”

Thanks for the feedback. My three neon sources are Michael Heiser’s work on the Unseen Realm, the Lord of Spirits podcast and this video from Seraphim Hamilton - https://youtu.be/rTgmwSly0f4?si=_NxybJ8KGliQs_yg

The rest of my theory is me connecting their ideas with the maths and astronomy.

The beginning part really is me setting the scene. If I decided to write this as a book, I’d definitely cite sources. But I didn’t really have time when I first wrote it down. I’m also not a very consistent source-quoter apart from the Bible.

I’d encourage you to check out Heiser’s work first before the Lord of Spirits. Heiser opens the door and then Stephen De Young walks you through the implications. It’s heavy going though, as we have to look at things in a different way. Here is Dr Heiser’s documentary. https://youtu.be/2QM7anD5vSI?si=z0jiRiBvAmWwlCK2

I fully explored these sources. Nothing appeared to be unbiblical. The claims match my understanding of scripture interpretation, that you must allow scripture to speak for itself. Heiser's reliance of the Book of Enoch will be cause for concern for some There's good reason it is not cannon despite being referenced by Peter, James and Jude. However those references do grant the work some credence regardless of the modern warnings to avoid it. You don't get to hold to some parts of scripture and ignore others. If it were not of value, why would Yahweh have allowed three witnesses to reference it, especially Peter? I have yet to read Enoch though I am familiar with its content. If you have read it, did you draw anything from the astronomy portion?

I’m reading it at the moment for a series on the Apocrypha I’m writing.

When I briefly checked Enoch and Jubilees for Astronomy, I didn’t see anything which gutted my theory.
